The Monitoring in the Field category is a place for practitioners to talk about field-based SAV monitoring (Tier II and III*).

    • Lessons learned, best practices
    • For patchy seagrass beds- are random points in tessellated hexagons (based on the Tier II monitoring plan from Neckles et al 2012) the best way to go?
    • Creating your tessellated hexagons
      • Best projections to use
      • Sharing syntax/code for creating random points (using R, ArcGIS, qGIS, python…etc)
