Aerial firms we've used

Hi All,

To help out anyone who is considering a tier I mapping effort, I’d like to pull together a list of the aerial firms that we’ve used. I’ll get the list started with our contractors:

Chesapeake Bay - Air Photographics, Martinsburg, WV (1987 - present)
Chesapeake Bay - Midwest Aerial Photography (2019 - present)

If you have used an aerial firm for SAV/Seagrass imagery recently, please reply to this message with the geographic region covered., firm name, and years imagery was acquired.

This will be our first year managing the aerial acquisition for Coastal Alabama/northcentral Gulf of Mexico as it was usually given to the GIS contractor to do. Figured we could save some funds by managing this part ourselves.
The last few mapping events (2019, 2015) was done by NV5 Geospatial. https://www.nv5.com/geospatial/

Of note, the Project Manager over there is Steve Raber who is acknowledged in the NOAA Benthic Habitat Mapping Guide that @mfinkbeiner put together :wink:
